Mural Artist
An onsite mural presents functional and scholastic components of scale, beauty, and contributes to public art. I have over 25 years’ experience as a mural artist and have completed work all over the state of Texas. including instructing college level mural and painting courses, From outdoors to indoors, including all different types of subject matter (what the mural is about).
Secondly, my knowledge of what paint to use, how to design, wall conditions, and logistics is crucial in the consultation process.
My experience and skills in Drawing, Painting, Public Art (murals), Digital Art, and Photography continue and have been expanding. I’ve been drawing since a child and continue to teach all levels of drawing at the university level.
Experience
Painting is my main passion as an artist, so I share that affection by teaching at a local University and a Non-profit Art School. My mural work has been seen in the Amarillo Globe-News on the Blue Sky Mural redo. I started painting murals and commissions in 2007, and the Dallas Uptown Mural appeared in Texas Highways Magazine. Design and Photography accompany my mural design skills and are essential for making an excellent finished product.
Pricing
A required $300 deposit is necessary for my ideas, sketches, illustrations, photography, and digital designs for prospective murals, projects, and commissions. The composition cost is part of the project price and is one of the most critical parts of the finished project. Square footage, working conditions, and materials needed for the project determine mural pricing. The cost per square foot can range frome $10 to $50 dollars.
