First of all, drawing the human figure inspires me, whether sketching straightforwardly or conceptually. My work has figurative elements via the rural and urban landscape, including a new direction and passion for the nude. As a Faculty Member of Fine Art and a Gallery Curator, I see that studying the figure is a vital discipline. By combining the figure’s curves with the scene’s landscape, nature, or geography. I select the model for his or her aesthetic beauty, personality, and free spirit. The scene’s setting is manipulated to balance human existence and its natural surroundings.
